Kate Larson

In times of uncertainty, our habits ground us. We’re here to help you take charge of your minds and bodies, so you can feel stronger and be more fulfilled in everything you do. Kate Larson, ten years as an RN, has three decades of leadership experience, and 17 as a single mother. Her work has always actively elevated quality of life, most recently in direct health instruction and curriculum development for middle and high schools in Vermont. Practice of Life sprouted from 10 years of exploration with young people, families, education and curriculum specialists, and healthcare leaders. These conversations highlighted the urgent need for better life skills – research-backed health resources for teens and families to make better choices about how to lead healthy, hopeful, purpose-driven lives. How can we help adolescents to meet the challenges of modern life? How can they claim the joy and purpose that will ignite their future? I put Practice of Life out into the world to honor the strength, wisdom, and capabilities of young people — who need more days filled with connection, play, movement, decency and sunshine. Everyone deserves a good start. I offer my company to all of you.
